Welcome to The Manhattan Project's Play portal, where all of life's important game mechanics questions come to sleep! Learning about the historical precedence and cultural influence that mold this game is all well and good and everything, but if you don't know how to actually play, then what use is all of the information that's been given to you thus far? Although The Manhattan Project has its usual "post scenes in community" and "write journal entries" structure, a few aspects of posting style may be seen as new and/or weird to some incoming players. Furthermore, knowing the reasoning as to how and why these people have this journal network available to them in the first place is really important in terms of context and even to some aspects of the plot in of itself! - The Historal Repository: The Historal Repository is (as of game opening) a non-profit organization interested on tracing the after-effects of one of the most profound diasters in American history by the stories of everyday New Yorkers as they go about their daily activities in one of the major metropolitan centers of what is left of the United States. The Historal Repository calls it attempts to record history as it happens The Manhattan Project, and more information on this nonprofit and its mission can be found here.
